BEYOND LACROSSE
Charities and SVS
Every year we support two charities through various fundraising events. The charities are nominated and voted for by club members, ensuring that everyone is inclined to share a little of what they have with others. Three of our most loved charity events are March Madness, the summer mixed tournament and the RockSolid race.

We are delighted that last year we raised nearly £4000 for our chosen charities: YoungMinds and Allegra's Ambition. On top of this, one of our committee ran the London Marathon for Young Minds, and raised a further £3,500!

A huge aspect of our club, which is sadly all to often overlooked, is the Sports Volunteering Scheme (SVS) where we go to a local primary school a few times a week and take a PE lesson in which we teach the kids the basics of lacrosse and play lots of fun and engaging games with them. Its massively rewarding for all those involved, and its a great way to introduce people to the relatively unknown sport of lacrosse in Exeter.

Other sports
EULC has a long tradition of getting involved with things on campus beyond lacrosse itself.
Every year we enter a team in the university netball and rounders intramural league, and the EULC men field a rugby side against Exeter Engineers RFC in the annual exhibition match.
In more recent years we have played in charity dodgeball matches (aka Boob Ball), in aid of Coppafeel; finishing in 2nd place in the 2017-18 tournaments.
Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook and Instagram pages for information on how to get involved!
