WELCOME
A massive welcome to all those joining us at The University of Exeter in September 2024. We cannot wait to meet you all and look forward to you joining the LARGEST Mixed Lacrosse Club in the country!
We are one of the largest mixed sporting clubs at Exeter and boast not only 7 competitive BUCS teams but also a strong social atmosphere with mixed socials every week. We welcome anyone and everyone into our club, whether you are an international player or someone who has never picked up a stick before, if you join UoELC, we can guarantee you will have the most fantastic time at Exeter. Don't believe us? Check out our video below...
Pre-season
We offer pre-season for both sides of our club. For new students it can seem daunting at first but we endeavour to make welcoming new students the best it can be. We structure preseason such that freshers are able to stay with major members of their respective club/team until halls open at the start of term. It is a brilliant opportunity to get stuck in and involved with the club before any academic work starts, and a great introduction to the University campus and wider city.
Women's pre-season
This year our women's pre-season is open to returners and invited high performance first-years only. During Welcome Week there will be taster sessions and trials for all other first-years to get involved and show off your skills!
Our women's returner pre-season starts in September and runs for a week before Welcome Week. If you have interest, get in touch to apply.
Men's pre-season
On the men's side of the club we welcome back all our players from the preceding season, as well as any new students who have experience playing men's lacrosse before Exeter. Pre-season runs for the first two weeks of September, as well as during Welcome Week. If you have experience playing men's lacrosse prior to Exeter, we urge you to get in touch so you don't miss out of your chance to play during pre-season.
Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships are primarily awarded to students of senior international and NCAA Division 2 standard or above. Applications from prospective students competing at junior international level are also encouraged.
